FREEION ENGINEERING is offering Ultra Filtration Plant, designed using the most advanced technology. The design of these plants is dependent on varied flux rates, membrane types, pump models & inlet water quality, which further assures right solution.

Ultra filtration System is widely applicable in pretreatment & post-treatment. Based on the cross flow filtration principle, our plants are designed to operate at around 85% recoveries. Ultra Filtration can be described as a tangential flow & pressure driven filtration process used for separating particles depending on their molecular size. The pore diameters of filtration membranes range from 10 to 200 A (0.001 to 0.02 micron). Thus, species and solvents that have smaller diameter than the membranes pore size easily pass through the membrane & emerge as ultra filtrate, also called permeate. Ultra filtration membranes can be cleaned with standard chemicals and are reusable.
